I thought I was a huge MBT fan. I have a pair of sandals that I never took off all summer. They just seemed to soothe my back. These tennis shoes have been a disaster for me. To get the proper length I had to get a little bit larger. When I got larger, the heel is entirely too wide and slips. I made the mistake of keeping them, thinking I could use heel grips. I'm now stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

These are very comfortable and, a real sales point from where I am, the same size fits the same in all the five different MBT models I now own. As I usually have my shoes picked up and delivered from the US (they cost twice as much over here), uniformity in sizing is critical. I have a knee prosthesis and this is the only comfortable shoe brand I've found with reliable sizing. Recommend it very highly. Only real problem is I don't think the shoes wear as long as they should for what they cost.

Finally, an MBT that doesn't look like a therapeutic shoe. Like blunnies only better. I've been wearing MBTs for a couple of years now for nasty arthritic feet, but have always disliked the look. These are slick, stylish, feel great, and fit like most MBTs: a little on the short side. I ordered 1/2 size up for fit.

I find the shoes to run wide and a little short and heavy. If I would have gone up a half size, they would have been too large. I also find walking in them odd. You seem to feel like you might not have your footing. I am returning them. I would suggest the Unstructured Clarks. Very comfy, light as air.
