I balked a little at paying the price but as I did my homework by going to a trunk show for the MBT brand and tried on many different styles, I was able to avoid sending shoes back for size issues. These shoes do fit very differently style to style and sizing up is necessary. Aside from that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. A joy to walk in. I didn't want to take them off! I recommend the styles with the highest amount of "oomph" rather than the lower, more stylish versions. You get addicted to the rock! There ought to be a law! Or at the very least a good sale.

Okay, so these are not the most glamorous pair of shoes that I own. That's what MBT shoes are for. I bought these shoes a couple of years ago. My best friend swore by them. I was skeptical, but I had nothing to lose. I have a lot of lower back pain and I'm severely flat footed. They take a bit of getting used to. I would recommend practicing walking in them before you take your dog on a long walk. They are terrific for a day at the mall or sightseeing while on vacation.

These are the best shoes ever invented. I have been wearing them nonstop since I got them. I would have to tell you tho', they don't run small. Some styles of MBT run small, others run big. I would say these are true to size so don't order up. They are very expensive, but worth every penny. They are good for foot and heel pain. They improve your posture and work your muscles unlike any other shoe can. I would recommend these to everyone!
